A Unique Wine tasting Evening with Decanter Magazine's
First “Wine Man of the Year”, Serge Hochar

SPOON by Alain Ducasse welcomes Mr. Serge Hochar, owner of Lebanon's acclaimed Chateau Musar, for a special wine tasting evening on Thursday, May 15th showcasing ten different Musar wines.

Enjoy a unique opportunity to taste one of the world’s top 30 wines (as honoured by Champagne Louis Roederer in its “Diner des 30”) as personally introduced by Serge Hochar, acclaimed winemaker and Decanter Magazine’s first ever “Wine Man of the Year”.

May 15, 2008 from 7:00pm to 9:30pm at the SPOON Bar

The evening begins at 7:00pm with the 2004 Chateau Musar Rose and 1999 Chateau Musar White, served with SPOON canapés.

Then from 7:30 pm – 8:45pm, winemaker Serge Hochar presents a technical wine tasting showcasing:

● 2001 Hochar Red - 2nd label
● 2000 Chateau Musar Red
● 1998 Chateau Musar Red
● 1997 Chateau Musar Red
● 1980 Chateau Musar Red (half bottle)
● 1977 Chateau Musar Red (half bottle)
● 1975 Chateau Musar Red (half bottle)

Following the technical tasting, enjoy more Chateau Musar wine, served with a selection of SPOON hors d’oeuvres including Lamb Skewers, Honey Glazed Duck, Grilled Mediterranean Vegetables and Clove Cheese from SPOON Chef Tjaco van Eijken’s native Netherlands.

This unique wine tasting is limited to 30 persons.
