檸檬黃的顏色中帶著點點的綠
非常的年青

開瓶時蜂蜜及蘋果香氣極吸引
之後再浮出輕輕的檸檬橘子
簡單直接地展現德國薏絲琳的風格

可惜的是入口偏甜
比較涸喉
酸度尚算足夠
令整瓶酒大致上也可稱得上平衡
不俗的酒
尤其是適合一般時候不喝酒的女士
不過要小心喝醉啊>_<”

Lemon color with green tinge, a young and energetic wine

Attractive honey and apple nose attacked me when the wine was opened
Hint of citrus nose was noted later
This wine showed typical style of Germany Riesling

The weakness of the wine was a bit over-sweetened
Fortunately acidity was adequate, making the wine balance
A nice wine for female non-drinkers, but beware of being drunk >_<”

Sylvain Fessy Chablis, AOC, 2003

一瓶簡單的Chablis
初時展現出濃濃的牛油及雲尼拿
之後漸漸滲出青檸，西柚和少量礦物香氣

可是入口時只有檸檬皮
餘韻短且帶苦澀
有點失望
大概鄉村級別的酒不能有太大的期望

A simple Chablis with buttery and vanilla nose when opened, followed by citrus fruit and mineral.

But only lemon peel can be tasted in my mouth, short aftertaste and a bit bitterness was detected.
A bit disappointed, maybe expectation should not be too much for village wine.

這次則是少數的例外
因為今次的主題是蠔與酒 - 兩者都是我的喜好

大概有四十人參加
如果人數減少一點

Miranda Somerton Brut Reserve NV
十分普通的氣泡酒
青檸皮，西柚肉，餘韻帶苦
沒甚麼特別
西班牙的Cava好得多

Domaine de Grand Maison Muscadet Sevre at Maine 2003
花香及蜂蜜香味撲鼻
酸度很高，當中帶點點青蘋果及柑橘類味道
這瓶Sur Lie果然比一般的Muscadet複雜
可惜的是餘韻帶苦，否則會是一瓶不俗的酒

Ruffino Lumina Pinot Grigio 2003(?)
唔記得係2002定係2003
這瓶Pinot Grigio十分典型
草青味及青果味顯著
酸度挺高，很一般
可是配起蠔卻挺不俗

Carmen Sauvignon Blanc Reserve 2005
番石榴味濃得有點意外
少許貓尿及蜜瓜味
太甜太造作太人工化
如要比喻的話我會想這是一位濃妝艷抹的小女孩
對於某些人會是很吸引的，可惜不包括我

Miranda Somerton Brut Reserve NV
An ordinary sparkling wine with citrus fruit nose and taste, bitter aftertaste.
I prefer Cava from Spain to this common wine.

Domaine de Grand Maison Muscadet Sevre at Maine 2003
Lovely floral and honey nose. Highly acidic with green apple and some citrus fruit taste, this "Sur Lie" is much more complicate than ordinary Muscadet.
Unfortunately, a bit bitter was detected. Otherwise she will be a good wine for daily consumption.

Ruffino Lumina Pinot Grigio 2003(?)
Cannot recall whether she is 2002 or 2003.
This is a typical Pinot Grigio with grassy and green fruit taste and nose.
Acidity is quite high, just so-so. But pairing oyster is not bad.

Carmen Sauvignon Blanc Reserve 2005
The guava nose and taste was so strong that out of my imagination. Also a bit cat pee and melon nose.
This wine is too sweet and too "man-made".
I would say she is a little girl with heavy make-up, which is absolutely favourite of some people, but definitely not my cup of tea.

Taylors Promised Land Unwooded Chardonny 2003

為調職的同事辦了餐餞別晚飯
帶了此瓶酒赴會
本沒甚麼期望
可是卻有點意外

一開瓶熱帶果實香氣已四處飄逸
倒入杯中菠蘿加熱情果氣味吸引
是一瓶十分直接且主動的酒

可惜入口時酸度稍嫌不足
令人有點涸喉的感覺
不過這亦可能與整瓶酒未冰鎮足夠有關

整體而言以低於一百港元的價錢
此酒已絕對可以接受

Tasted in a farewell dinner.
With no expectation, this wine surprised me with her adequate tropical fruit nose when opened. Pineapple and passion fruit were shown in the glass.
What a direct and proactive wine.

One of her problem is the low acidity, which caused thristy feeling on my month, may be that is actually a problem of not chilling enough for the wine.

Overall speaking, I think this is an acceptable wine that worth drinking for value lower than HK$100.
